# Webinar Strategy

Free Claude skill that builds a real webinar hook and a dated follow-up plan that turns attendees into pipeline, no API key needed.

## What it does

Webinar Strategy builds the strategy work most people skip before a webinar, not the webinar itself. You tell it what you're selling and who it's for, and it walks through five phases: pick a topic that actually earns attention, source the right speaker, build a 21-day promotion calendar, set production standards, and write a dated follow-up sequence that segments attendees by how engaged they were and gets your sales team calling the hot ones while the content is still fresh.

## Who it is for

Anyone running B2B webinars for demand generation, marketing managers, founders doing their own demand gen, or agencies planning a client webinar, who keeps booking webinars that get decent attendance and then quietly generate nothing, because nobody built the actual strategy behind the promotion and the follow-up.

## What it is and what it runs in

- **It's a skill.** Think of it as a playbook Claude follows. There's no app to download.
- **It runs in Claude Code.** It also works in Codex, Cursor and other tools that support skills.
- **It's free.** No API keys, no signups, no paid accounts.

## Before you start

- **Claude Code installed** (or another agentic tool that supports skills).
- **git installed.** On a Mac, if it's missing, your computer offers a one-click install the first time Step 1 runs.

## Install

Open Claude Code (or your agentic tool) and run these two steps.

### Step 1: Download the skills library

```
git clone https://github.com/LeadMagic/gtm-skills.git
```

### Step 2: Copy Webinar Strategy into Claude Code

```
mkdir -p .claude/skills
cp -r gtm-skills/skills/demand-gen/webinar-strategy .claude/skills/webinar-strategy
```

## Run it

Give Claude your product and your audience, for example:

```
Plan a webinar for Reconcile, an AI inventory-reconciliation
tool for mid-market logistics warehouses. The audience is VP
Operations running several warehouses.
```

You get back something like:

```
Working title: Why Your Cycle Counts Are Lying to You
  Challenges an ICP assumption: yes
  Forwardable to a boss: yes
  Leads to the problem we solve: yes
21-Day Promotion Calendar:
Day 21 registration live -> Day 14 email 1 -> Day 10 speaker
LinkedIn post -> Day 7 email 2 -> Day 5 paid + partner co-promo
-> Day 3 last-chance + DMs -> Day 1 reminder
Post-Webinar Pipeline:
Hour 0 recording + slides -> Day 1 written Q&A -> Day 3-5 SDR
call blitz on hot attendees -> Day 7 "what you missed" to
no-shows -> Day 14+ repurpose into blog, clips, newsletter
```

## Troubleshooting

**Claude doesn't seem to use the skill.** Make sure you opened Claude Code in the same folder you ran the install steps in. You can also call it directly by typing `/webinar-strategy`.

**The offer doesn't write itself.** The skill builds the hook and the follow-up in detail but only gives you one line for the offer or call to action. Decide that part yourself before you ask Claude to fill in the run-of-show.

**You don't have a speaker lined up yet.** Tell Claude what you have, an internal expert, a customer willing to share results, or a partner, and it will help you weigh the options. It can't source a speaker for you, only work with real candidates you give it.
